Mapping of the Child Care Infrastructure in the Region of Crete

Mapping of the Child Care Infrastructure in the Region of Crete by the Managing Authority of the “Crete” Programme, in collaboration with the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete, carried out a mapping of the needs of childcare (infants - children - nurseries) at the level of the Region of Crete.

The survey was completed in March 2023.

This mapping will support the formulation of selecting criteria of the "Crete" Program 2021-2027 for Child Care infrastructure in Crete.

Conference of the Observatory in the Regional Unit of Chania for the presentation of its research findings and the recording of local needs in Crete

The Region of Crete was successfully held the conference of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion (Observatory) in Chania with the title, "Living Conditions, Urban Deprivation and Local Needs Recording in Crete". The Observatory collaborates with the Laboratory of Social Analysis and Applied Social Research (EKAEKE) of the Department of Sociology of the University of Crete. The Department of Public Health and Social Care and the social services of the Municipalities of the Regional Unity (R.U.) of Chania actively participated in the conference.

Conference of the Observatory in the Regional Unit of Lassithi for the presentation of its research findings and the recording of local needs in Crete

The Region of Crete successfully held the Conference of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion (Observatory) - which collaborates with the Laboratory of Social Analysis and Applied Social Research (EKAEKE) of the Department of Sociology of the University of Crete -, in Neapolis Lasithi (Cinema "Driros"), with the title, "Living Conditions, Rural Deprivation Pockets and Registration of Local Needs in Crete", and the active participation of the Drectorates of Public Health and Social Care of the Regional Units (R.U.) of Lasithi and Heraklion and the social services of the Municipalities of the same Regional Units.
