Online Conference "Harassment in the Workplace"
The Region of Crete-Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion and the Regional Committee for Gender Equality of Crete (PEPIS of Crete), in collaboration with the University of Crete, the Hellenic Mediterranean University (ELMEPA) and the Municipal Committees for Equality of Crete (DEPIS), organizes the web Conference "Harassment in the Workplace", on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 10:15 am to 2:00 pm.
The conference is held in the framework of the Project "ACTIONS FOR THE PROMOTION OF GENDER EQUALITY IN THE REGION OF CRETE 2018-2020", implemented by the Region of Crete, the University of Crete and ELMEPA, with the aim of Gender Equality in Crete 2018-2020 ".
The first part of the conference will present data related to harassment in the workplace in Crete, will refer to the current legal and advisory framework and representatives of local social organizations will present their work in dealing with incidents of harassment in the workplace.
In the second part of the day, a Round Table will be held, on "The Role of PEPIS and DEPIS Crete in informing, raising awareness and tackling harassment in the workplace", with the participation of the Presidents of DEPIS Crete, Lambros Vamvakas. The meeting will be greeted by the Secretary General of Demographic and Family Policy and Gender Equality, of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Gianna Hormova and the Head of the Equality Office of the Union of Regions of Greece, Fotini Vryna.
