Great participation and interest in the presentation of the results of the surveys of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete

The Region of Crete - Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion, in collaboration with the University of Crete - Laboratory of Social Analysis and Applied Social Research (EKAEKE) of the Department of Sociology, held a Conference to present the results of the research for Living Conditions in Crete, Needs Assessment & Deprivation Pockets in Crete: Research Findings and Spatial Social Planning Perspectives ". The meeting highlighted issues related to the monitoring of poverty and social exclusion in Crete.

Participation in the 4th meeting of the Regional Committee for Gender Equality of Crete (PEPIS Crete) for the National Action Plan for Gender Equality 2021-2025

The 4th Meeting of the Regional Committee for Gender Equality of Crete (PEPIS Crete) was held by teleconference, chaired by the Deputy Regional Governor of Public Health and Social Policy, Lambros N. Vamvakas, with the participation of Presidents and Representatives of the Municipalities and executives of the social services of the Municipalities and the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete.

The Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete in collaboration with the Department of Social Solidarity of the Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare of the Regional Unit of Rethymnon participated on behalf of the Region of Crete, in the workshop of the European project Include EU for social integration of third country immigrants.

The 6th teleconference of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion was held for the mapping of social programs and social services in Crete, with the social welfare and the public health services of the Region of Crete, in the presence of the Deputy Regional Governor of Public Health & Social Welfare, Lambros Vamvakas.

3nd teleconference on the mapping of Social Services and Social Programs in Crete

The Region of Crete, following the meetings with the social institutions, held the 3rd teleconference on the mapping of social services and social programs in Crete, within the responsibilities of the Regional Social Inclusion Observatory (Observatory). The teleconference was held with the presence of the Deputy Regional Governor of Public Health and Social Policy, Lambros Vamvakas, with the participation of the Holy Archdiocese of Crete and the 8 Holy Metropolises of the island.

First results of the Regional Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete (Video)

The Observatory for Social Inclusion of the Region of Crete, presented the first research results of its work, through teleconference with the presence of the Regional Governor of Crete St. Arnaoutakis. The Governor of Crete referring to the work of the Observatory, he pointed out the value of the results of the research conducted in collaboration with the University of Crete as well as the cooperation with all local authorities, for the most effective analysis of needs and the promotion of targeted solutions, with local focus and particular intervention per social group.
